Apart from the research grants from the Italian Ministry of University (contracts 40% and 60%) has had almost continuously supplementary research grants from the CNR and from industrial collaborations.

Also has a research grant from the EU programme TMR, on symptotic methods in kinetic theories, with the Universities of Berlin (TU), Kaiserslautern, Orleans, Pavia, Toulouse, Granada, Gothenburg.

Recently obtained a research grant from the Italian Ministry of University (Research of National Intereset), jointly with a network led by Professor Cercignani (Kinetic Theories).
